Imam Rasheed Ashiru Adekola, hailing from Oyo, particularly Iseyin Local Government, is a student of knowledge and leader deeply rooted in his cultural heritage. He began his academic journey at the Arabic Institute of Nigeria, Ibadan, and furthered his studies at Zad Academy, specializing in Islamic Studies. His educational pursuits also led him to earn a National Diploma in Mass Communication from the Polytechnic, Ibadan, first and second degrees in the Department of Linguistics and African Languages from the University of Ibadan.

Currently, Imam Adekola serves as the principal of Ibnsolah Islamic Institute Elebu-Moniya, Ibadan, where he seamlessly integrates traditional Islamic teachings with modern educational practices, fostering an environment of academic excellence and spiritual enlightenment. He remains dedicated to his community and heritage, embodying a legacy of knowledge and service both locally and beyond.
